Ministry Simplified Through Our New Web Design With 1 Goal: You!

I hope that you are enjoying some of the newer features that are being implemented in the web site. There has been a lot of consideration in some of the pieces in this newer redesign, with one simple goal in mind: we want all of this to be easy to use for everyone!

After rolling out the mini-mobile web version of the web site, we realized it was time to take a look and seek God for what direction the main site should be going. As I took a long look over all of the content and how much that God has given for us to provide, I am overwhelmed with joy! I also realized how easy it could be to be overwhelmed by so much content all at one time, so the site’s main page has been revised to just a few key pieces to make everything easy to read and use. For our great supporters who have been reading and viewing from the beginning we know and believe that if you want to dive into the deeper resource of the ministry, you will! All content is still available via the two menus above at the top!

We encourage you to keep on taking advantage of the tools and resources that are here for the building up of your life! God bless you!

A Prayer Request

I would like to thank everyone for their continual support in the work and ministry that God has performed through us over the past few months. The radio ministry has grown leaps and bounds. The online ministry has expanded far greater than we ever thought. The CD distribution ministry came out of nowhere to shock us too! It has been such a blessing, and we feel like that we have grown so much and have learned so many lessons along the way. I am speaking for just me, but I know that I could say that for everyone involved in the ministry of Heart of Grace.

As we start to seek God and prepare for the next chapter in the ministry, I ask for your prayers. Help us pray that God would send us where we need to be, and to be sent places where we can be of help. I for one am so excited, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store! Keep us in prayer!

New And Upcoming Web Content!

As of today, we have added 3 new features that you may or may not have noticed in the past few days:

1) Verse of the day – This will simply be a random daily verse for you to enjoy! It has the ability to be played back for you (if you have your sound on), or you can click on the verses to go and read more!

2) Where are we next? – This shows any places that we will be within the current week! If you are interested in seeing where we will be beyond the current week, just go to our events page!

3) Where to study today – This is adapted from the “read the bible in a year” plan, and shows the daily chapters to pace yourself reading if you would like to continually refresh yourself in the word of God each year! It’s worth it if you try it!

More features coming soon! God Bless You!

Are You Ready For An Update?

It’s good to be back writing on the HOG blog once again! lol! We might as well give it a catchy name everyone loves, so there you go!

Sometimes it is hard to allow technology to capture how good that God has actually been in our ministry. The places we have been have been just as much of a blessing to us. We have learned many things a long the way, and even though we have grew up and had many experiences, we always learn something new.

The Lord God is wonderful. Simply put. The singing seems to only get better, even when we get more tired. The ministering that we do in spoken word and truth seems to be more magnified, even when we feel more and more weary from the journeys that we take. And though we know there are more ahead of us, we know that there is more strength to be had, and more blessings to give to others. For we do not stand as a group to get a pat on the back, but to hold our hand out and help to pick others up in need.

I hope the day comes that we all become strong enough to obtain and retain that power from on high, that when people see all of us that carry Christ within us, they KNOW beyond all doubt, and that we have NO fear of come what may.

Thanks to all of the past churches for the wonderful fellowship, the wonderful food, and the wonderful experiences! We can’t wait to see you again! Be sure to stay tuned. We are in the works for some new news! I’ll stay on it, I promise!

News & Updates: We Need Your Ideas

We are really excited to announce that the recording of our first few demo songs has officially begun. I’ve been sort of slow in getting around to doing all of the technical stuff behind it, but it’s now up and running and ready for some trial runs.

So I guess I’m posting this to see if anyone has any suggestions or songs that they would love to hear us record as we are doing so trial demos. We will be posting the recordings on the site for everyone as we get better at improving the sound of it.

Song suggestions, anyone?

So Busy!

Things have definitely been hectic to say the least, in terms of schedules and daily life! The summer has kicked in full blast!

I am happy to report that we are about to start doing test recordings of songs to work on learning our new equipment and moving into the new age of recording music directly to the computer. It’s came such a long way. And no worries, we will be filling up the schedule soon enough!

God Bless You!

What To Do Now? Let’s Blurb!

It’s good to be writing to you all tonight. I am here to write a little “blurb” about what I have learned the past few days.

I have learned that it is never easy to be able to try and figure things out on your own. Trying to do this only leaves me to my own thoughts and understanding, and as obvious as it seems now, it’s hard to see in the moment. I hope that as I face my future valleys that I can remember the moments on the mountain, and to know that it took something to take me there: my Lord and my Savior!

I have also learned that without faith being in every instance of every trial, that the trial will run its course with no divine intervention. We start with faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed, and yet, that is only the beginning of it. That faith is meant to grow, meant to be cultivated, to be encouraged to something even bigger than our mind can contain. For without it, we can never grow to bear anything that will be of help to ourselves and to others.

Another important piece that I have obtained is the realization that people need each other. It is simply more convenient to think that everyone is okay, so we never bear the burdens of heavy hearts. It is simply easier to think “it’s someone else’s problem”. It’s so sad, but so true. I’m here to tell you that I am changing my frame of mind, and to realize that people need me. People need that anointing that God has placed in my life. For on my own, I am nothing, but God through me, I can do all things.

And finally, I will close with the thanks and gratitude to anyone and everyone out there that is supporting us in this ministry. We have had some things try and come to slow us down, but we are not stopping for anything! We are continuing forward, aspiring for the mark and high calling that we have read about! God bless you all!

What’s Up? What’s New?

Greetings and God Bless! I thought it was time to deliver some new news for the month.

First of all, we have some dates posted where I will be holding my first ever youth revival. I’m really excited and hope that you can make it! See the events page for more details.

With the sun coming out, the summer singing season is in full swing. We are about to knock the rust off of all of the instruments as well as our voices, and are getting ready for a new season of the Lord! With that said, be ready and stay tuned on the web and radio for new content in the upcoming weeks!

We are considering expanding our radio domain throughout our entire county! We are currently in discussion and prayer about the matter, but will move on it soon!

Let’s see, what else? Site Changes!!! I am about halfway there on some of the news I delivered last month. Here are the updates we have rolled out already this month:

  • New “Live” page – we will now be posting live messages from our ministry
  • New “Events” page – we have now added a calendar tool which will give you all the information you need to find us in a locale near you
  • New “Small Thoughts” section – these are our “short” devotionals, or some of our writings that we composed but didn’t use live or on the radio. we’re sharing everything!
  • New “News” section – our news and updates have their own section now!

Praise Report

I wanted to share recent news on what transpired last night.

I was invited to come to the House of the Lord in Oneida, TN, to come and minister for a “Youth Night”. I brought my home church youth group from Faith Tabernacle. Jamie Adkins did a wonderful job in orchestrating the kids in practice and the singing there. There was a great amount from my home church that came to help and support, and I thank all of you for coming.

To be completely honest, I was nervous about this night, simply because in our walks through ministry we often second guess the inspiration that God has provided. Nonetheless, I trusted in the Lord to help me through it, and it was a wonderful experience.

I want everyone that attended to know that I am praying for all of your requests, and will be following up in prayer on the needs that were brought to me during the alter call.

It was a wonderful turnout and a wonderful night. This might be a spoiler, but I am anticipating a revival in the middle of May. I will post the dates as soon as I know. Heart of Grace will be involved in this part for sure! Keep us in your prayers! God Bless You!
