Video: Singing “Through It All” Live @ LaFollette Church of God

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuj3xHRRzH8

Special thanks to Tim & Daniel for playing with us!

I’ve had many tears and sorrows,
I’ve had questions for tomorrow,
there’s been times I didn’t know right from wrong.
But in every situation,
God gave me blessed consolation,
that my trials come to only make me strong.

Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to trust in Jesus,
I’ve learned to trust in God.

Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.

I’ve been to lots of places,
I’ve seen a lot of faces,
there’s been times I felt so all alone.
But in my lonely hours,
yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus lets me know that I was His own

I thank God for the mountains,
and I thank Him for the valleys,
I thank Him for the storms He brought me through.
For if I’d never had a problem,
I wouldn’t know God could solve them,
I’d never know what faith in God could do

Video: Singing “Rejoice, My Children, Rejoice” Live @ Fairview Missionary Baptist Church

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0F6DzzcDcM

It may seem peculiar to believe in a land
Though we’ve not seen we still call it home
But our faith sees it clearly and our hearts are fixed

We rejoice in that blessed home

Rejoice (rejoice), my children, rejoice
For our name is recorded today
Be glad (be glad), exceedingly glad
For Heaven is ours to claim

To look at God’s children the world just might say
How foolish we are to believe
But they just don’t know we are heirs to a throne
And our name is on the deed

Video: Singing “When I Lay My Isaac Down” Live @ Fairview Missionary Baptist Church

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFkbMkTcF5s

Abraham prayed for the day
God would give him a son
Blessed Isaac was his name
The greatest gift he’d ever known
Then came the day, who would have dreamed
God would say “Give him to me
On this mountain you will prove,
It’s you and Isaac, or it’s me and you”

When I lay my Isaac down
Broken heart but my Fathers proud
On this altar here he lays
Just to find it wasn’t him he/(God) wanted me

Most of us I’d dare to say
Have an Isaac in God’s way
On the Altar God will prove
It’s not your Isaac that he wants
He wants you

On this altar here he lays
Just to find it wasn’t him he/(God) wanted me

I’m kind of homesick for a country
To which I’ve never been before.
No sad goodbyes will there be spoken
For time won’t matter anymore.
Beulah Land (Beulah Land) I’m longing for you (I’m longing for you)
And some day (And some day) on thee I’ll stand (Someday we will stand)
There my home (There my home) shall be eternal (Eternal)
Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land
I’m looking now, just across the river
To where my faith, shall end in sight (Shall end in sight)
There’s just a few more days to labor.
Then I will take my heavenly flight.
Beulah Land (Beulah Land) I’m longing for you (I’m longing for you)
And some day (And some day) on thee I’ll stand (Someday we will stand)
There my home (There my home) shall be eternal
Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land
Beulah Land, oh it’s Beulah Land
Oh Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land

Its a long and dusty road that my feet,
they are traveling on and sometimes,
oh the clouds are dark and low
oh but I’ve got, I’ve got to keep the faith
and walk that straight and narrow way
to reach that place that I will call my home

For my home is just around the bend
I think about it now and then
reunions by the millions everywhere
but the one that I so long to see
is the one who bled and died for me
my home my home a place I long to be

Now so many hold this whole world so dear
but friend I am just a stranger here
I’m just passing through on a temporary stay
friend I’m looking forward to the time
when all of heaven, it will be mine
I’ll watch and pray for it could be just any day

For my home is just around the bend
I think about it now and then
reunions by the millions everywhere
but the one that I so long to see
is the one who bled and died for me
my home my home a place I long to be

For my home is just around the bend
I think about it now and then
my home my home a place I long to be
my home my home a place I long to be
for thats my home

Video: Singing “Why Should I Worry?” Live @ Fairview Missionary Baptist Church

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rX9zHsdTA_E

He’s a Shelter in the storm when everything went wrong
A beckoning Hand that led me back home
A still, small Voice saying, “It’s gonna be alright.”

My Song of hope in my darkest night
Why should I worry? What should I fear
When I know that He is always near?
Even when the weight of the world is closing in on me,
His eyes are always watching over me
So why should I worry?
He’s a Sunrise in the morning after a night of tears
A Spirit moving to calm all my fears
A soft, gentle Touch just to help me be strong
The Wind in my sail to keep me going on

Why should I worry? What should I fear
When I know that He is always near?
Even when the weight of the world is closing in on me,
His eyes are always watching over me
So why should I worry?
The sun has never refused to shine
The ocean has never run dry
The One who’s in control of it all
Said all me needs He will supply
Why should I worry? What should I fear?
He is always near?
Even when the weight of the world is closing in on me,
His eyes are always watching over me
So why should I worry?

Video: Singing “Through The Fire” Live @ Fairview Missionary Baptist Church

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJzNFViAVLE

So many times I’ve questioned certain circumstances
Things I could not understand
Many times in trials, weakness blurs my vision
Then my frustration gets so out of hand
It’s then I am reminded I’ve never been forsaken
I’ve never had to stand the test alone
As I look at all the victories the spirit rises up in me
And it’s through the fire my weakness is made strong

He never promised that the cross would not get heavy
And the hill would not be hard to climb
He never offered our victories without fighting
But he said help would always come in time
Just remember when you’re standing in the valley of decision
And the adversary says give in
Just hold on, our Lord will show up
And he will take you through the fire again

I know within myself that I would surely perish
But if I trust the hand of God, He’ll shield the flames again

Video: Singing “Mercy Walked In” Live @ Morley Baptist Church

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6OX3o1VTYM

I stood in the court room the judge turn my way
It looks like you’re guilty now what do you say
I spoke up your honor I have no defense
But that’s when mercy walked in
Mercy walked in and pleaded my case
Called to the stand God’s saving grace
The blood was presented that covered my sin
Forgiven when mercy walked in
Praise the lord
I stood there and wondered how could this be
That someone so guilty had just been set free
My chains were broken I felt born again
The moment that mercy walked in
Ooohhh
The blood was presented that covered my sin forgiven when mercy walked in

Video: Singing “Rough Side Of The Mountain” Live @ Morley Baptist Church

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzMb38iy66s

Oh Lord, I’m strivin’,
tryin’ to make it through this barren land,
but as I go from day to day,
I can hear my Savior say,
“trust me child, come on and hold my hand.”

I’m comin’ up Lord, although my burdens
sometime they press me down,
but if I can only keep this faith
I’ll have strength just to run this race;
I’m lookin’ for my starry crown.

This old race will be soon be over,
there’ll be no more race for me to run.
And I will stand before God’s throne,
all my heartaches will be gone,
I’ll hear my Savior say, “welcome home”.

I’m comin’ up on the rough side of the mountain,
I must hold to God, His powerful hand.
I’m comin’ up on the rough side of the mountain,
I’m doin’ my best to make it in.

Video: Singing “I Don’t Regret A Mile” Live @ Morley Baptist Church

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4c6TLYOCUA

(version originally by the Daughterty quartet)

I DON’T REGRET A MILE, I’VE TRAVELED FOR THE LORD.
I DON’T REGRET THE TIMES, I’VE TRUSTED IN HIS WORD.
I’VE SEEN THE YEARS GO BY, MANY DAYS WITHOUT A SONG.
BUT I DON’T REGRET A MILE, I’VE TRAVELED FOR THE LORD.

I’VE FOUGHT A FAITHFULL FIGHT, AND I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH
SURELY, UP IN HEAVEN, A HOME FOR ME AWAITS.
A PROMISE OF A MANSION, ON STREETS OF PURE GOLD.
KEEPS ME PRESSING ONWARD, NOT MANY MILES TO GO.

MANY MILES BEHIND ME, NOT MANY MILES TO GO.
I WALK THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW, LONG HAS BEEN THE ROAD.
THO SLOWER STEPS I NOW TAKE, I’LL SOON REACH MY GOAL.
MANY MILES BEHIND ME, NOT MANY MILES TO GO.
