How To Interpret Dreams And Visions: Understanding God’s Warnings And Guidance

I for one have always been amazed when I read the word of God, especially the parts that are tied into dreams. In this book Perry Stone discusses the dreams that we know of in the bible, as well as his explanations on how to begin to understand some of the dreams that we all have. There are some wonderful testimonies of his as well as others that talk about the way God has used dreams in their lives. If you are a dreamer and want to begin to have a better understanding of dreams that are from God (and those that are not), then you need to grab a copy of this today!

And always remember when you are done with one, pass it on or recommend! That helps the ones who work so hard to write them!

Give Your Time To God

Welcome to another day. I welcome you to move all the stuff away from the avoided topic that everyone dreads more than others: dedication.

It’s not an easy thing to stay in week after week on your commitments while trying to find time for every other part of your life. The sad part of it all is when a choice has to be made about where time is spent, God more than likely takes second place. I am definitely not here today to get everyone roused up about changing their schedules based on what I would ever say, but consider the word of God!

God in many places set out time apart from the hustle and bustle of life; for with that dedicated time comes separation from things that would try to pull us away in the beginning! There are other mentions of people striving for the mark of the high calling of God. If we dedicate ourselves to giving God the deserved priority, your life will not only be less hindered but begin to demonstrate more of the spiritual fruits for others to bear!

Stay diligent in keeping God first in your life and in your schedule! Pray and ask God for guidance about what you do and how He is glorified! It is well worth the prayer conversation!

Are You Living Or Existing?

Galatians 5:25  – If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 13:11 – Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

I wanted to reach out today to talk about your everyday living. Some of us stay at home and some of us work, while others are dedicated for other hobbies or interests in life. It is interesting to me that when church-goers are inquired about the level of enjoyment that they have that the consensus is usually “so-so” or “not very much”. That really makes me sad to know, considering the guidelines that was laid out in the word of God for us to realize what we can be so much more than average.

God sent Jesus Christ for everyone so we would never have more of a load than we could bear and provided a way of escape from sin! I want to remind you about the peace of God and the joy of the Lord being your strength! I also remind you about how a merry heart doeth good like a medicine! It is healthy for you to be enjoying your life! It is healthy for you to be happy! Do you have to be living in sin and doing horrible things to accomplish this? No way!

Life has many present joys out there to offer that you can begin to take in through God. Including God in your life will allow you to begin to live and not just exist. If you are doing something without seeking God and His will about it, you may be in the existence of sin without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. However, if you begin to live when the spirit leads you to joy through your trials, you will be strengthened through the provision of what God gives each day! Remember to not just exist, but live and do all things THROUGH Christ!

Put Into Practice:

Learn to simply not accept any present situation as it is if you are not satisfied with how you feel that it is going. If you feel like you need to pray about something to get peace, I suggest you do it. If you need to sing to bring joy in the moment, do it! If you need to study Gods word more often to give you more guidance, do it! If you need to be humble and more spiritual to endure the harder things ahead of you, do it! The most important thing that I could say for you is to find a part of you that you need to work on and take action! The biggest harm that you could do against yourself is when you do nothing to help.

Do whatever you can to improve your walk with God. Heed to each and every word that you get and let it stick to you like glue. Do not let go of the great things that God will work in your life, for they will begin to build you to the person that you never thought you could be. You will live in the love you never thought you could. But most of all, you will see all your hopes and dreams begin to come alive right before your eyes. Love God, others and yourself!

Hold Fast To The Foundation

2 Samuel 22:2-3,33 – And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

Psalm 31:3 – For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

In my personal life there have been so many things that people have passed on to me through wisdom and knowledge. I will always be grateful for each and every one of the things that have helped me along the way. Some of the values and thoughts may bear more significance than others (do not touch a hot eye on a stove vs. refusing drugs). I wish that I could say that there was a token of wisdom for every situation, but there will always be cases where you are searching for guidance through confusion.

What I want to remind everyone is about the spiritual ground that you stand upon. The grounded foundation of God is always solid, is never wavering, and will always be there for you; even when you feel as though all have forsaken you. You can always pray to God when everyone else has stopped listening or think they have given you something that should suffice (personal advice). What we often forget is that we can always read in the bible and seek for deeper understanding for situations in your life or even areas you were not aware of!

Host fast to the only thing that will keep you! Hold fast to God, His spirit, and His word!

Put Into Practice:

There are many different substances on this earth that carry many different malleable properties. Some can be bent under pressure easily while others require a great deal of force. When I consider this, it makes me think about how solid my trust is with God. If I am stable with God on Sundays and forget about Him on Monday, I would imagine that my Godly faith and backbone could be snapped in two. I would fall quickly, right? Go ahead and feel the example in your hand of what we could walk around as. Take an empty plastic water bottle, remove the cap, and begin to squeeze the bottle. Do you feel how easy it succumbs to the pressure? To me, this is the easiest illustration of how we are when the first sign of pressure attempts to weigh upon us.

So what can we do to improve? We need to have a stronger material within. We must build within ourselves the power of God so we are stronger for each and every trial that is ahead of us. I assure you the more work you put in to getting stronger the less you will regret the effort.

Breaking Down God’s Communication

John 16:13

[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Literally and Spiritually via the bible and through seeking him! I think about hearing the phrase into “all truth”, and it makes me to consider that there will not be any moments where I am feeling lost!

The spirit of truth will provide you with guidance, and will not lie to you. It will not leave you comfortless, or without peace of mind. Sometimes we feel like that we are left without hope, but we are not! Do not be deceived! People will deceive you, but God will not!

Luke 21:33-36

[33] Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
[34] And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
[35] For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
[36] Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The word of God will speak to every circumstance, and it will instruct you and help you to grow in areas that you are weak in!

It’s important to know that our decisions only line up if we know God personally. If the condition of the relationship is right also, in other words when we are right, we are in operation of the mind of Christ!

And when the body of Christ is in proper operation, people get help the way that God intended it to be in the beginning!

Romans 8:35

[35] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

God speaks through the details of your life; i.e. your trials and circumstances: the things that we know the best of course!

This is hard to say, but if we feel like we are getting the short end of the stick in life, then maybe it’s time we get back to basics and begin to take focus off me (flesh), read his word more, be around people in God’s will, have a strong spiritual environment, and  begin to focus more on God!

We must know and realize that our trials have their place, and they should not be the thing that rules our lives! God should be!

Proverbs 1:10

[10] My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

Say what?!? Some things must begin to change! Consent thou not! In other words, don’t feel like you have to be like everybody else! God has raised up a standard in you to be something different; an example if you will, that will lead others to Christ!

Proverbs 4:13-15

[13] Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
[14] Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
[15] Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

Let the instruction not go! If we do anything, do not let go of the things that God speaks to you, the guidance, steps and words that are given to you are the only life to you that will keep you through the dark times and storms of your life!
